SUBMISSIONS

Want to have your work published? Want to contribute to an independent film-focused magazine?

Then you’re in the right place.

As a publication that spotlights indie filmmakers and artists in our industry, we not only want to hear your stories and opinions, but we also want you to express them in your own words.

With the form below please provide your name, email, and website if applicable (your Instagram handle is acceptable), as well as a brief introduction to your work in the industry and the purpose of your piece. There is a limit of two written works per submission. If you intend to submit more than one piece please submit them together.

  • We are looking for:

    • film-related opinion pieces

    • reviews of independent films

    • personal essays in relation to your work in the industry

    • or any topic in relation to independent cinema

  • Submissions should be titled and open to edits and /or changes.

  • Must have been written in the past five years.

  • Pieces should not exceed five pages or roughly 2,500 words. Corresponding photos are optional.

  • We do not mind profanity but we ask that you keep it minimal. The same applies to graphic and / or violent descriptions and we ask that you provide the appropriate trigger warnings in advance.

  • Please provide accurate sources for film works and outside texts ( year of release / author of text is sufficient).

  • We are not currently accepting screenplays or story pitches.

  • Plagiarism of any sort will not be permitted or considered.
